Wilmington Neurofeedback is committed to improving quality of life within our community and beyond through personalized, non-invasive brain training. We believe in educating individuals and families about safe, effective options that support better brain function and overall well-being.
Our goal is to make neurofeedback more accessible to those seeking support with challenges such as attention, anxiety, mood, sleep, and performance. We are dedicated to providing a knowledgeable, safe, and caring environment while maintaining the highest level of integrity in everything we do.

My journey into neurofeedback began not as a business owner, but as a mother searching for help for my own family.
As our son approached the middle school years, he began struggling more with impulse control, emotional reactivity, frustration, and anger. Like many parents, we wanted to help him in a meaningful way — not simply manage behaviors, but better understand what was happening beneath the surface and support him in a healthier, more lasting way.
As a pain management physician, my husband, Jeremy, has always been passionate about researching approaches that support healing and brain wellness without relying solely on medication. Through his work, he developed a professional relationship with Dr. Sharrie, and when our own family needed help, we turned to her and neurofeedback.
The changes we experienced were profound.
Not only did we see meaningful improvements in our son, but the impact extended throughout our entire family. Our home felt calmer. Communication improved. Stress levels decreased. We began to better understand how closely emotional regulation, sleep, stress, focus, and nervous system health are connected.
After more than 20 years of helping families through her work as a naturopathic practitioner and neurofeedback provider, Dr. Sharrie approached us about taking over the practice so she could pursue other interests. When we asked what would happen if we chose not to, we learned the doors would likely close.
At that moment, the decision became clear.
We realized how many individuals and families in Wilmington and southeastern North Carolina still needed access to this kind of personalized brain training support — just as our family once had. We could not imagine allowing something that had made such a meaningful difference in our own lives to disappear from the community.
Since then, neurofeedback has remained an important part of our family’s wellness journey, especially as each of our three children has navigated the challenges and transitions of adolescence, middle school, and high school. Those experiences continue to shape the compassionate, personalized, and family-centered approach we bring to Wilmington Neurofeedback every day.
