Getting the Most from Neurofeedback

Circular infographic showing keys to success: Communication, Hydration, Nutrition, Consistency.

Consistency Matters Early On

For the first 8 sessions, consistency is key. We recommend scheduling sessions as close together as possible—ideally daily. Early in the process, changes may last only 24–48 hours before the brain returns to previous patterns, so frequent sessions help build lasting progress.

Support Your Brain with Nutrition

Neurofeedback works best when supported by healthy habits.

  • Limit processed foods (items in boxes, bags, or cans), which may slow progress
  • Reducing sugar, dairy, and gluten may help support better brain function
  • Focus on whole foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and legumes

Stay Hydrated

Drinking water after each session can be helpful. Just like physical exercise, brain training benefits from proper hydration.

Communication is Important

Your feedback plays a key role in your progress. Sharing updates—whether by text, email, or in person—helps guide your training and personalize your experience. Please feel free to report any changes you notice at any time.
