Our Team

Devon Hoff, Owner

Devon’s journey into neurofeedback began through a deeply personal experience that changed her family’s life. After working with Dr. Sherrie during a difficult time, they saw meaningful improvements that inspired her to bring this option to others in the community.

With a background in journalism and marketing, Devon stepped away from her career to raise her three children. Over time, she felt a strong calling to serve her community—an opportunity that aligned naturally through her connection with Dr. Sherrie.

In 2022, Devon purchased Wilmington Neurofeedback as Dr. Sherrie transitioned to pursue other opportunities. She trained directly under Dr. Sherrie in conducting assessments and selecting individualized protocols using Brain-Trainer software. She completed certification through New Mind Academy and continues to collaborate with Dr. Sherrie as needed.

Devon is dedicated to creating a supportive, compassionate environment while helping clients work toward better brain function and overall well-being.

Sara Jones, Office Manager

Sara Jones brings over 23 years of experience in education to Wilmington Neurofeedback. She holds a Master’s in Health Education and a Master’s in Education from the University of Alabama.

She previously owned and operated an accredited private K–12 school for students with learning differences, incorporating a multidisciplinary approach that included neurofeedback alongside other supportive services.

Sara trained as a Neurofeedback Specialist through New Mind Academy with hands-on training under Dr. Sherrie. She is also a certified holistic wellness coach, trauma-informed, and trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

In 2020, she transitioned from private education into neurofeedback. Her work is grounded in the belief that healing happens when the brain and body are supported together, empowering individuals to move toward greater balance, resilience, and well-being.

Michelle Sumowski, Neurofeedback Technician

Michelle’s interest in neurofeedback began through her own personal experience, where she saw firsthand the positive impact it can have on overall well-being.

She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2024 and is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA). Since beginning her training at Wilmington Neurofeedback under owner Devon Hoff in July 2024, Michelle has developed strong skills in delivering individualized neurofeedback support.

Michelle is dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable as they work toward improved brain function and overall wellness.

Bella Robinson, Neurofeedback Technician

Bella is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience, with a growing focus on brain function and emerging EEG research as part of her studies.

Her background includes experience in alternative medicine, where she worked closely with patients, pharmacies, and medical providers to help support positive patient outcomes and overall wellness.

Bella joined Wilmington Neurofeedback at the beginning of 2026 and is passionate about helping clients feel comfortable and supported throughout their training experience.
